2022 ANNUAL GALA
An event that will make your heart beat!
On November 5th at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Montreal, the Jean-Talon Hospital Foundation held the 13th edition of its annual Gala, which raised more than $512,000 for the renovation and refurbishment of the cardiology unit of the Jean-Talon Hospital. It’s 230 guests, as well as many generous partners and donors who have mobilized themselfs to make this evening an exceptional event with a major impact for the community of patients of Villeray - la Petite-Patrie.
Under the honorary presidency of Mr. Simon Lauzier, Chief Financial and Business Performance Officer at Ivanhoe Cambridge, the Gala offered its guests a festive program rich in emotions, combining gastronomy, captivating auctions and draws, live musical performances by the artists Judith Bérard, Sandy Duperval, Diane Rodrigue and the Band 1945, as well as committed and touching speeches From Dre Muriel Laurans and Dr Donald Eddé, that highlighted the important role of the Hospital within its community with growing needs and the colossal and dedicated work of its teams.
The significant amount collected at the Gala will be used to finance the work aimed at renovating and refreshing the space occupied by the Cardiology Unit of the Hospital, including corridors, rooms, and the nurses’ station, while improving its functionality, ease of access for patients and optimizing the use of resources by the personnel and accessibility for patients, with particular attention to their reception and comfort.
