What is the Action Santé Festival?

Watch the video of our first edition right here.

Second edition

A SPORTS CHALLENGE TO TAKE UP WITH FAMILY, FRIENDS OR COLLEAGUES!

Thanks to its great success during its first edition, the second edition of the Défi Action Santé will be held next May 13, organized by the Fondation de l'Hôpital Jean-Talon and presented by Desjardins. This charity challenge, which will be held at the same time as the Action Santé Festival, was created to support an important program of the Foundation, the Méta-Action program. This program aims to improve the physical health of patients at the Jean-Talon Hospital's psychiatry clinic.

The Festival, for its part, will be held the entire day, it is open to the general public and we invite partners (community organizations, merchants, hospital departments, etc.) to be present to promote their services to the community.

The objectives of the event are:

  • Publicize the Hospital and its services;

  • Create links with community organizations and businesses in our neighborhood;

  • Raise public awareness of healthy lifestyles, including physical activity.

The Charity Challenge:

This challenge is ideal for both established athletes and families who want to move. The course will take place on the bike path near Père Marquette Park. 3 distances will be proposed: 1km, 5km and 10km.

A great success for this first edition!
