Campagne Président 2025 - EN.png

Take Part in a Meaningful Project for Our Community

The Jean-Talon Hospital Foundation invites you to support the 2025 President’s Campaign, chaired this year by the Honourable Lucien Bouchard. This campaign, which culminates at the annual gala, offers a unique opportunity to contribute to an innovative and deeply human project without needing to attend the event.

It is a great privilege to have Mr. Lucien Bouchard as our honorary president. A trained lawyer, diplomat, statesman, and builder, he has left a lasting mark on the political history of Quebec and Canada through his commitment, intellectual rigor, and vision of the common good. Former Canadian Ambassador to France, Minister of the Environment, and Premier of Quebec from 1996 to 2001, he has always placed the values of solidarity, responsibility, and public service at the heart of his work.

His journey reflects a man deeply devoted to Quebec society, its culture, and its institutions. A Grand Officer of the National Order of Quebec, he embodies excellence and civic engagement. Still active as a lawyer at the Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg firm in Montreal, Mr. Bouchard continues to contribute to Quebec’s development—a contribution that is highly valued and beneficial to our society.

This year, donations will help fund the acquisition of a surgical

assistance robot for Jean-Talon Hospital, a cutting-edge

technology that will transform patient care, particularly in

orthopedic surgery.

By becoming a partner in this campaign, you are making a

gesture of solidarity and commitment to a cause that directly

impacts our community.

Every contribution, big or small, makes a real difference.

OUR PROJECT

EHR: An essential technological breakthrough for the Jean-Talon Hospital!

The acquisition of a surgical assistant robot represents a major advancement for our institution.

Thanks to its cutting-edge robotic guidance technology and personalized 3D imaging-based planning, this robot significantly enhances the precision of hip and knee replacement surgeries.

Its benefits are numerous:

  • Fewer surgical complications

  • Reduced post-operative pain

  • Shorter hospital stays

  • Better long-term recovery for patients

Without this equipment at Jean-Talon Hospital, the CIUSSS du Nord-de-l’Île-de-Montréal would miss a unique opportunity to position itself among the leading centers of excellence in robotic surgery and minimally invasive procedures.
