15th Annual Gala a resounding success!
The Jean Talon Hospital Foundation's Annual Gala, held on November 2 at the Ritz-Carlton Montreal Hotel, was a tremendous success. Thanks to the generosity of our guests, donors and partners, we raised an impressive $430,000.
These funds will be directly invested in the implementation of the Digital Health Record, a major project of our 2024 campaign aimed at modernizing and improving access to healthcare for our entire community.
Chaired by Mr. Serge Savard, former star player with the Montreal Canadiens, and hosted with talent by columnist and broadcaster Michel Beaudry, the event brought together nearly 250 guests. The evening was also marked by the nomination of Dr. Bénédicte Descoings to the Cercle des Intendants de Jean-Talon for her exceptional contribution to the growth and development of the cardiology department at Jean-Talon Hospital, as well as her unconditional support for our Foundation.
We would also like to extend our warmest thanks to our principal partners - FNF Canada, Ernst & Young and Banque Nationale Gestion privée 1859 - for their unfailing support, and to all those who helped make this 15th edition an unforgettable event.

EHR : An essential technological breakthrough for the Jean-Talon Hospital!
The Electronic Health Record is a digital transformation project that is part of the Québec
Government’s Health Plan.
The island of Montréal’s Northern Integrated University Health and Social Services Centre (IUHSSC) was selected as the showcase site to deploy the EHR.
By donating to the Jean-Talon Hospital Foundation, you will be contributing to the Hospital’s modernization and to the improvement in the quality of care and services through the imminent implementation of the EHR project.

Remembering the 2023 edition
The 14th edition of the Annual Gala of the Jean-Talon Hospital Foundation raises $500,000
On this occasion, a tribute was paid to Mr. Savard in recognition of his brilliant hockey career, the 30 year anniversary of the Montreal Canadiens' last Stanley Cup victory under his direction, and his philanthropic involvement in various causes, including the HJT Foundation.
