Jean-Talon Hospital
Located in the Villeray district of Montreal, the Jean-Talon Hospital was founded in 1954. It is part of the Integrated University Health and Social Services Center (CIUSSS) du Nord-de-l'Île-de-Montréal.
The Jean-Talon Hospital offers general and specialized care and services in most medical disciplines. The establishment has 250 beds, of which about 60 are reserved for long-term care and about 30 for psychiatric care.
An ever-growing number of outpatient services are made available to clients, particularly in day surgery, where high-performance activities are comparable to the types of operations performed in large Montreal hospitals.
The establishment has a large pool of medical equipment. Cardiology, radiology, nuclear medicine, emergency room and the operating theater are just some of the establishment's many services, which have state-of-the-art equipment.
Jean-Talon Hospital is part of the Petite-Patrie Local Service Network (RLS) and serves the population
